These are captured frames from the camcorder video retrieved from JP Aerospace's "Away 9" high-altitude balloon test flight. This flight was to test some electronics in the cold (-60F) and near-vaccuum (18mb) conditions of 90,000' in altitude. It also carried about 75 PongSat experiments from schools in the Sacramento area. The PongSat site has more info on the Away 9 flight.
Note: JP Aerospace also flew Away 16 the same day. I don't have any photos because I went on tracking and recovery for Away 9.
These pictures serve to point out that you don't have to be NASA to get pictures of the curvature of the Earth.
